Khotey Sikkay – ‘Kaante’ is back

Sanjay Gupta’s 2000 movie ‘Kaante’ bagged critical acclaims for its thrilling storyline and cast which had Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Kumar Gaurav, Lucky Ali and Mahesh Manjrekar among others in the lead. Now buzz is that the director is bringing the film’s sequel that has been titled ‘Khotey Sikkay’.

The film will feature Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi. And for the female lead, our birdies revealed, Gupta had approached Katrina Kaif. However, the beauty said have rejected the role that was played by Jessica Biel in the original and in fact is a very pivotal character in the film.

‘Khotey Sikkay’ is alleged to be the remake of the popular Hollywood flick ‘The A Team’ starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson and Sharlto Copley.

As a matter of fact, ‘Kaante’ was actually the remake of another English movie ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and also loosely inspired from ‘The Usual Suspects’ and ‘Heat’.
